We are looking for a new colleague Project Engineer for our Chassis Components Product Line, Div. Car Chassis Technology at our location of Songjiang District, Shanghai. Your tasks: Project management within the framework of the job description for a project engineer. Independent project planning / coordination in accordance with the agreed-upon development process (concept to series-production phase) and in adherence to the specified project milestones. Development according to cost-related, functional, and production-related criteria based on the Customer and ZF specifications. Preparation/Organization of detailed design studies, product specifications/drawings, FMEA, simulations and calculations. Creation of all required documentation (bills of material etc.) in the PDM, PLM systems. Creation of test specifications and procedures together with Test Department according to requirements. Technical troubleshooting by using failure analysis tools. Cooperation with internal / external customers and suppliers; presentation of results and processes. Your profile: University Degree with a related engineering specialization. At least three-years’ experience, preferably experience with designing steering or suspension components. At least two years of experience with 3D design systems (Catia V5 preferred). Technical background with a strong understanding of mechanical or automotive engineering. Preferably knowledge of automotive customer standards and requirements. Has basic knowledge of manufacturing and assembling technologies. Basic knowledge of forged products made of steel and aluminum materials. Basic knowledge of FMEA methods. Problem solving mindset. Well structured, organized, efficient and accurate working method. Adaptive to efficient teamwork. Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and external interaction. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
